Welcome to the Genie Manager! You have the ability to customize the brandable Genie by adding your current logo / image, or just add one or two lines of text with your name, business name, or any message you would like to convey.

Follow the simple instructions and once you have finished, ALL of your Genies that have been previously distributed will feature your image or text within minutes!

ADD YOUR IMAGE

To add an image to your Genie, you will select the MyShoppingGenie logo and follow the online instructions.

IMAGE SiZE

The maximum image size is 225 pixels in width by 30 pixels in height.

If you add an image larger than 225x30 ... the image will not work.

You may of course add an image that is less than 225x30 (example: 150x30 or 100x20) and it will work just fine.

SUPPORTED GRAPHIC FORMATS

Bitmap (.bmp), Gif (.gif), JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png) image.

Animated images are not allowed or supported.

Tip: To create a transparent background ... add a Gif (.gif) or PNG (.png) image with a white background ... the white background will become transparent (meaning that the white color will not show up on the Genie).

IMAGE ASSISTANCE

To have a logo or image created, please go to Google and type in "logo design". There are many companies to choose from that will provide you with a custom logo design.

If you already have an image and need to resize it to fit the Genie, please visit www.myshoppinggenie.com/resizepicture.asp to learn how to resize an image. Or go to Google and do a search on how to resize a picture. There are several Web sites that will walk you through the process of resizing a picture.

MyNet Universe does not have the personnel or software to assist users in creating or resizing images. Please acquire third party assistance in creating or resizing an image.

UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE

Click Browse ... select and open an image to upload from your computer ... then click Submit.

PREVIEW YOUR IMAGE

Enter the Web site address (URL) (including the http://www.) prefix that you want users to be directed to when one clicks on the image.

As an option, you can enter a tip that will appear when the user moves the cursor over the image (i.e. Join Now, View Today's Specials, Thank You For Your Business, etc.). If you leave the tip blank, the word Visit will automatically be added.

Important Tip: If MyShoppingGenie 2.0.1 or later has been downloaded to your computer, you can now preview your selected image. The Genie will automatically appear at the bottom of the page for your review.

Important Note: The Genie that appears at the bottom of the Genie Manager page with your new logo IS NOT LIVE ... meaning that the hyperlinks ... options menu ... nothing is functioning. The purpose of the Genie appearing is to give you a preview of what your logo will look like on the Genie.

When you have completed these two steps, click Accept. (If you want to start over or make a change, click Cancel).

After clicking Accept ... your selection will begin appearing on all Genies that have been previously distributed within 20 minutes. All new distributed Genies will feature your image immediately.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE NEW IMAGE ADDED TO YOUR GENIE

After you add an image to your Genie ... the MYSHOPPINGGENIE LOGO IS STILL GOING TO APPEAR at the top on the Genie Manager page. However, your new image will appear at the bottom on the Genie preview area. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MEANS THAT YOUR IMAGE HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY ADDED TO YOUR GENIE and that it will begin appearing on all Genies that you have previously distributed within 20 minutes. All new distributed Genies will feature your image immediately.

ADDING 1 LINE TEXT TO YOUR GENIE

Instead of adding an image, you may add your own text (such as your name, company name, or any message you would like to convey). To add 1 line of text, select the MyShoppingGenie text and follow the online instructions.

TEXT SiZE

25 characters including spaces is the maximum size allowed.

ENTER TEXT

On Line 1: Enter a Line of text to appear on the Genie.

Example: My Business Name

Enter the Web site address (URL) (including the http://www.) prefix that you want users to be directed to when one clicks on the text.

As an option, you can enter a tip that will appear when the user moves the cursor over the text (i.e. Join Now, View Today's Specials, Thank You For Your Business, etc.). If you leave the tip blank, the word Visit will automatically be added.

ADDING 2 LINE TEXT TO YOUR GENIE

You may add your own text (such as your name, company name, or any message you would like to convey on two lines). To add 2 lines of text, select the Finding Bargains Made Easy text and follow the online instructions.

TEXT SiZE

25 characters including spaces is the maximum size allowed for line 1.

20 characters including spaces is the maximum size allowed for line 2.

ENTER TEXT

On Line 1: Enter a Line of text to appear on the Genie.

Example: ABC Realty

On Line 2: Enter a Line of text to appear on the Genie.

Example: Let Me Find Or Sell Your Home

RESTORING GENIE DEFAULTS

RESTORE GENIE DEFAULTS

Selecting the Restore Defaults button resets the Genie  to its original state. All the Genies you have distributed will automatically be updated with the MyShoppingGenie logo that hyperlinks to your MyShoppingGenie home page.
